As members of the AlfaEurope Federation, we need your input to design

• fundraising campaigns
• awareness campaigns

Current Awareness campaigns:

• Letter-writing campaign to each country's local MP to create awareness of Alfa-1 in their municipality.
• European Alfa Awareness to celebrate Chopin's birthfay on the 7 October. Ireland successfully organised a commemorative concert in October 2009,for this special date.Chopin_programme.
• visibility projects: Information Days are being held by different countries: English and  a German- Danish joint event in May 2009
• European film project to raise awareness for COPD and find the alphas within that community.Film Project COPD and AAT defiency
  

Chopin was a very European figure, and through Dr D Lomas, Cambridge, scientific research, it would seem very probable that he suffered from AAT deficiency, unknown in that period.

We need you to work on fundraising objectives to ensure that the Alfa Europe Federation creates an ethical and transparent support structure from a diverse source of private and public sector sponsors.

We also need an independent observer to monitor our efforts. Please volunteer your services to the AlfaEurope team.
